Cyrus

This is Nutmeg, now known as Cyrus. You may recognize him from Kittie's page.

She is the wonderful foster mom that kept him until we were lucky enough to adopt him. She's been wonderful about answering my questions, as we are first time Chin owners.

He's been here a bit over a week now, and seems to be settling in just great. We have bathroom playtime nightly. I have a large cage on order for him, so he will be getting new digs soon. I think his current cage is way too tiny for him. He is getting pretty good about being caught and held now, we work on it nightly. He is still a tiny bit wary of my husband, but he is getting better with him too.

He has plenty of company with our two cats, Hannah and Cruiser, and our guinea pig, Lowell (who came from the same shelter as Cyrus did). We also have a Doberman Pinscher, a Greyhound, two rabbits, a duck, two horses and two goats (but of course he has no contact with them. We feel so fortunate to have been chosen to adopt Cyrus. He is more fun that I ever imagined!
